Goldray Glass

Goldray Glass is a glass manufacturing company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

They collaborate with architects, designers, and glaziers to create decorative architectural glass for a large variety of interior and exterior projects.

The company was in the process of re-doing their website and needed new images of their product line.

While sourcing a photographer for the job they found me on Bark, a service provider listings company I am registered with.

I met with the Marketing Director to discuss the project. They have 12” square samples of every glass product design they make, each needed to be photographed.

Every image would accompany the description and technical specs of the glass in the products section of their website.

They wanted to present the samples in an elegant and clean manner.

The whiskey tumbler was specifically chosen for its elegance and class. It was important to give an accurate representation of scale for the details in the glass and its reflection.

A cohesive presentation of the images across the categories was also requested.

The glossy white surface was selected for its clean look.

I used three different lighting setups for the shoot.

Each set up was unique and based on the characteristics and detail of the glass in its category.

In all there were 15 product categories and 111 total images delivered, including a cover photo for each category.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Goldray Glass.

I’m proud of the work and happy to be a small part of their growth.
